There will be a shuttle from the Holiday Inn in Carbondale that will take you to the vineyard for the wedding and reception. If you are taking this shuttle, please be sure to RSVP yes, so that we know how how many people are planning to use it. Depending on how many RSVPs there are for the shuttle, we may have more than one departure time. More information on departure times will come closer to the wedding.

There will be multiple shuttles leaving from the venue to take guests back to the Holiday Inn in Carbondale. Departure times will be between 8:00 and 10:00 PM. You are welcome to leave your cars at Black Jack and come back for them the next morning if you coordinate someone to drop you off. You are welcome to take the shuttle back even if you did not take it to the venue.

Yes. The ceremony will be held completely outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will take place in a barn that is covered and shaded, with many fans and open doors on either end for airflow.

Yes, but not as much as a typical wedding. There will be some ballroom dances, and then a short period of classic wedding group dances. Because we want to spend this exciting day celebrating with all of you (and be able to hear one another), after the dance portion, we will turn the music back to soft instrumental music so that we can continue to visit and enjoy each other's company.

Culinary Fire will be catering our dinner, and it will be delicious! You will have your choice of the following entrees and sides: Parmesan Catfish, Rosemary Chicken, Broccoli, Butter Pepper Corn, Garlic and Herb Potatoes, Rolls, and Cesar Salad. We also will have appetizers of Tomato/Garlic Bruschetta and Spinach Artichoke Dip prior to dinner. We loved the meal we had at our tasting and can't wait for you to try it!

Absolutely! That was one of the reasons we wanted to get married over Labor Day weekend, so that our guests would have extra time for either leisure or travel before heading back to work. We plan to head to Honey Heist Mead Company around 1:00 on Sunday, and would love to see any of you who plan to stick around. After that, we are loosely planning to go to Owl Creek Vineyard and Blue Sky Vineyard.
